Book your round on one of Australia’s finest sandbelt courses, days after the world’s best players compete for the title.
Kingston Heath Golf Club is hosting the Men’s Australian Open in 2026. On Tuesday, 8 December, the course opens to visiting golfers for a post-tournament experience where you play the tournament layout, enjoy lunch, and receive gifts on the day. Tee times run from 8:00 am in 15-minute intervals, giving you a structured day on a course that few international visitors get to access outside of occasions like this.
Kingston Heath sits in Melbourne’s Sandbelt, a stretch of southeast suburbs that contains some of the most respected golf courses in the Southern Hemisphere. The course is known for its exceptional bunkering, tight fairways, and fast greens. It is a private members club, which means public access is limited. Playing it days after an Australian Open gives you a rare look at the same layout the touring professionals walked.
You play the full tournament layout used during the Australian Open. Lunch is included, and the club will offer a full menu on the day. Additional gifts are also part of the experience, though full details will be confirmed closer to the date.
Tee times begin at 8:00 am and are available in 15-minute intervals. Securing your preferred time early is worthwhile, as availability is finite.
To confirm a tee time, full prepayment is required along with a letter of introduction from your home club, including all player names and handicaps. The maximum handicap is 36 for men and 45 for women.
The experience is also open to corporate groups, assessed on a case-by-case basis. Players in that category are expected to have a solid understanding of golf and course etiquette.
The cost is AUD 1,500 per person.
If you are travelling to Melbourne in December 2026 and want to include this experience in your itinerary, contact our team as early as possible. Tee times are limited and the booking process requires advance preparation, including sourcing your letter of introduction before you travel.
Our specialists build golf itineraries around access exactly like this, pairing courses, timing, and logistics so you arrive ready to play.
