Luxury Vacation & Golf Tours
If you have ever dreamt of making the pilgrimage to King Island to play world class links golf along the wild edge of Bass Strait, big changes are underway that will make your next visit even better.
Ocean Dunes, ranked among Australia’s top golf courses and globally recognized as a top 50 bucket list destination, has officially rebranded to King Links, King Island.
The new identity features a King Crab visual logo that reflects the island’s local heritage and rugged maritime environment. This rebrand marks the beginning of a massive 38 million dollar redevelopment project for the course.
While the breathtaking, ocean hugging layout created by Graeme Grant remains as thrilling as ever, the infrastructure around the resort is receiving a long awaited transformation:
King Links sits just five minutes from King Island Airport, with flights from both Melbourne and mainland Tasmania taking less than an hour. That makes the island a natural add on to a wider Australian itinerary, whether you are pairing it with Tasmania’s other courses, the Melbourne Sandbelt or a few days in Hobart.
Supported by a 10 million dollar loan from the Tasmanian State Government, this project addresses the island’s accommodation shortage, making seamless multi day golf tours significantly easier to arrange.
"King Links is a name that speaks to exactly what this place is: pure links golf, on King Island."
Andrew Muir, Managing Director & Chair
