Victoria is well known to be home to the best golf in Australia and one of the finest stretches of golf in the world. With a majority of the Australian clubs recognized here as being ranked near the top in the world, it is a must-play for the passionate golfer. These courses benefit from being built on natural sandy loam that allows for not only easy and fast drainage but ideal for growing conditions and easy maintenance of playing surfaces.
The region is split between Sandbelt collection of courses, roughly 30 minutes from the city’s CBD. The World Cup of golf has been played six times in Australia as of 2018, with all of them on the Sandbelt (Royal Melbourne, Kingston Heath and Metropolitan).
Although this region certainly has more courses than are listed, our focus is to help introduce clients to the best golf, with an emphasis on access to other activities in the area.
