Red letter days are marked when something monumental happens in one's life. October 29th was one of those days for Golf.com's Alan Shipnuck and Golf Channel's Matt Ginella.
Why?
They got the chance to play Royal Melbourne with their friends ahead of the President's Cup in 2019. RMGC was the 5th course the guys had played in as many days. See below for a few of their thoughts and posts.

When asked for one swing tip, Tom Dreher quipped: "Don't aim at pins." Such is life at Royal Melbourne. Probably as close as I'll get to playing Augusta National, but circa 1970s.
